Winedown has created a 6-course tasting menu that can be enjoyed for just two during February. The menu includes Porcupine Prawns with Lemongrass and Chilli, Asian inspired Beef Skewers with House Rayu, and slow braised pork belly with pickled apple. All of these dishes can be paired with carefully selected wines. The dinner box can be picked up at Winedown, Montague Street on Fridays. For an additional EUR20, customers can opt to have their box paired with a bottle of wine.
The Winedown team has also launched a six-course Home Dinner Box. This is available for a limited time only. The box includes a selection of Winedown’s best dishes, and a chocolate marquis. The Home Dinner Box is available for EUR55. Customers can also have their boxes paired with one or more bottles of wine for an extra EUR20
Allta
Located in the heart of Dublin, Allta is a wine bar with food. The wine bar’s menu includes perfectly executed dishes, complemented by cool music. The restaurant has become known as a progressive eatery in Ireland. The menu changes frequently and the restaurant works with quality Irish producers.
The menu at Allta Winter House includes a range of inventive desserts. Smoked apple ice cream, spiced cider jelly, creme brulee filled choux and apple ice wine are all on offer. Pre-paid wine pairings can be arranged and are easy to find.
777 At Home
777 has launched a new At Home dinner box. This is a full Mexican feast kit which includes everything you need to recreate a night at 777 in your own kitchen. The kit includes a brand-named bottle of margarita and two sets of tortilla chips. It also contains grilled chicken breasts, pico de gallo, salsa verde, taquitos, a set of tortilla chips, and a pair of taquitos. You can either click and pick it up or have it delivered.
The At Home dinner box includes a 750ml bottle of pre-made margarita with lime and sea salt. It also includes a branded cocktail jar with cocktail skewers and a branded napkin. You can choose from either a vegetarian or meat version.
Uno pizza kit
During the week, The Dough Bros offers a DIY home pizza kit. The kit can be ordered online or picked up at the Galway City Centre store. This kit includes three pizza bases, three pizza toppings, cheese and sauce. You can store the kit in your freezer up to 2 weeks. You can also store it in the freezer for as long as two weeks. It can also be ordered on Thursday or Friday for delivery the following week.
At-home pizza boxes from the restaurant include enough ingredients to make two or three pizzas. They are then delivered directly to your home in Ireland. You will receive simple instructions and the ingredients cheese, tomato sauce, and olive oil.
Bang @ Home
Touted as Dublin’s newest and hottest restaurant, BANG @ Home offers a five-course fixed price menu every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday evening. This award-winning restaurant is situated in Merrion Square and offers some of the finest seafood in town. The restaurant also offers a small selection of wines, from the ubiquitous Irish IPA to more interesting reds. With the standard hamburger and fries priced around EUR10, it is one of the most affordable BANG @Home meals.
